    20 line Chunk/Troll

Headed out this morning to the 20line with some solid reports. Fished with a friend of the family and a new crew. Had some issues in the morning which caused us to get out there late. this might have been our biggest problem since the bite has been early. Drifted some sardines and jigs for a while with no luck. Decided to troll and then picked up a mahi right when I got the chuncking lines in. trolled around had bait, a few nice marks, but nothing to right home about. Got rained on and crapped on by mother nature. But when it was all said and done we avoided the Skunk

Trolling them up with bars and Spiders, then chunking them is one of our favorite ways of catching tunas and other species on the lighter gear that many like to fish with. It works great, especially when there are deep fish that you attract to the boat by beating up the ones you hook down deep, getting them to the boat fast, then chunking the followers that accompany them many times. If you leave the bars out when you do this, they usually get bit too.

Or, you can just keep on crankin' 'em in and tossing the bars back out again, like you will read about in the albacore post I put up yesterday. Non-stop action and thirty-eight albacore up to 35#? Now that's some good fishin'!

Pandemonium...equals fun for some of us "tetched" ones!

Read all about it in...ah, you know where by now. We don't just sell you the tools for catching fish, we also provide you with full instructions on how to use them.
