While Marty has not taught me anything about fishing!!! He has taught me and shown me what a man with a big heart can do to help 1,200 kids in his community. Not many people can say they have helped a community of kids the way he has. I am proud to call Marty and friend and along with 1,200 kids of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coastal Carolina applauded you for helping us make a difference in their lives!!!!

Hell yeah, hes made an impression on me. I met him at the Barta last year in Morehead City, along with several other board members. I intended to staying at my home on Cedar Island that night but after a few cocktails I decided to walk down to the local bed and breakfast and find a room. As I said my goodbyes, Marty spoke up and said I didnt need to go to a hotel, that the ElCribo had an extra air mattress that could be inflated and placed in the kitchen to sleep on. I took him up on it at which time I met Holwachagot/The Captain, Bite Me and others, who were also sacked out all over the house. Man I felt right at home with these dudes. How many people would invite a total stranger into their home for the night? Not many!! Thanks BOX, I owe you man!

Thats just my personal experience, not to mention all the knowledge I've gained from asking questions and reviewing his post and videos. Few people are willing to give up so much, for so little. Thanks Marty!

Words can not describe the gratittude that I feel towards Marty. He educated and influenced me in ways that go far beyond fishing and this great site. I will forever be indebted to BOX and hope that one day I can repay him and positively influence someone else the way he has me. THANKS DUDE!
