Thanks for the comments, guys.
We had a great crew and a good time. Yes the boat is a 45 Cabo. Handled the front and 6 footers with white beards very well! Cruised 22-23 kts home which is a kt or 2 off my usual. It was wet but that's why she has windshield wipers!
Boat continues to impress me!The really active bite was an hour or 2 before the front came, so there is lot to be said for the theory of fish biting before a front! I have XM weather and watched the front hang over Beaufort all day. Of course on the way back home the front moved offshore and we crossed paths around the knuckle, not fun! Oh well, it goes with the territory! Tight lines. Fred PS I'm going tomorrow Tues, if ya out there give us a holler! |
