    12/3 Flooded Timber

lots of ducks in the area(hundreds of wood ducks, a hundred or so gadwalls, 30-40 wigeon) but tough to compete with a "yellow" pond next door . managed to scratch out a few and take some cool pictures. we will get 'em again when the season rolls back around.....i think ive got them nailed down now .

neat pic....notice the gun barrel from behind the tree on the right.

the bag....2 woods and a gadwall. dorked a cake shot on the biggest greenhead i have ever seen, too

    freebird,

thats cool....spent a lot of time in my younger days in white oak at camp bowers. that place gets hotter'n hell in the summer with mosquitos that will drain your body of all its blood in a matter of minutes! im sure we have stomped some of the same land in bladen county then. i hunt with the corbetts and am blessed to have access to pretty much all of their company land in the area. the cape fear lowlands are about my favorite place in the world......

    seabiscuit,

oysters were awesome...frogmore was awesome....beers were cold.....company was great....great way to spend a fall afternoon. i think you and marty ought to get together and plan a bash one day.....it is widely known that greeks know how to throw a party, top it off with some wahoonbox antics, and you would have the bash of the century! really enjoyed talking to Ed...he is a real character.....and he only got better the more wine he drank! good to see nick p and kevin, too.

    oh and......Happy Birthday!!!

Pretty work and beautiful pond. Not that I know anything about it, but some millet magic would likely negate the yellow pond.
