After fishing only 4 day's out of the last 12 due to the "not so wonderful" MHC weather. Mate Blake Conlin and myself were eager to get off the dock yesterday morning. After a 4:15 departure we set lines in about 5:30 on a beautiful Sat. morning
about 7:00 I found some huge haystacks of bait and worked them third pass thru the deep planer fired off. After a what seemed like a fairly quick 30 min fight the leader came up and with it a tail wraped 100 inch. fish. After a easy-as-could be stick with the poon it was over.
It was very nice to see and hear the amount of action on the radio yesterday hopefully is a sign of good thing to come.
Congrats to Swell Rider, Fight-N-Lady and The RUN-OFF on there fish yesterday..
The fish was 100 inches but was skinny and cored @ 386lb.
