Off the dock 3:15 am...not too bad. Run through Muskeget was glass...found some nice swell around the dump. Lines in at the tip at 6:30 at the break. trolled warm side cold side, east wall west wall and managed one decent 40# Alby...picked off a nice free range Mahi about 15# in the open water. picked off bunch more on the flyers. All in all water was not great...greenish and not that nice. heard guys catching over at Hydro and reports at Veatch seemed less that desirable. Picked up an ran 20 miles to Hydro in a 4-8 East swell..wasn't too fun...Had lines in on the SW corner on the west well. Ziged and zaged and managed 1 YFT. Weeds to the north were almost unfishable but we were on top of it...nada. Trolled N into about 71 degree water headed for the barn. water at Hydro was way better though so it looked promising. Ran into a 30 ft whale shark feeding...pretty cool. better luck next time.
