Well we have had our share of passing hurricanes, tropical storms, depressions forming on top of us and we still managed to pull off a great season for Catching and Releasing Blue Marlin.
It just doesn't get a whole lot better than St. Thomas, Virgin Islands when it comes to Blue's must less the big ones and we had our share of those also.
We wrap up the season with October full moon and we had the Blue's on the N. drop. There were approx. 13 boats that fished over the 2 1/2 week window around the moon. We had our share of rough seas so there were some days lost to weather, however, when we did get that chance it brought the following numbers and some boats more than others. We also had a few Whitey's and Sails their just a little out of their season but we want tell em' that it is Oct.
The fleet went 116/240 + 46 Blue Marlin which means they saw 286 Blue's (and a huge #of them were 500lb+), hooked up 240, and then released 116 whew how do you like those numbers? On White Marlin the fleet had 3/14 and Sails 5/8.
This whole season June - Oct. was a little off due to all the bad weather we had, but for the most part it was great and St. Thomas proved itself once again. Most of the Big Boy's have gone home or to their next fishing hole and now we are cleaning, repairing and getting ready for Season in November. Black Pearl Sportfishing Charters will be fishing and looking for the huge Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna, or possible stray Mahi, so stay tuned and we will try and keep you posted on the wonderful sportfishing in the beautiful US Virgin Islands.

I fished N drop before the Sept Moon on the My Three Sons. Raised 5 hooked 3 released 1 in 2 days fishing. Beautiful Place and great fishery! Welcome!
