    Happy New Year!!!. Heavy rains and snow made the fishing on Monday-Wednesday tough. On Thursday the river was coming down and the color was good. We hooked 9 fish, landing 5 on plugs. 1 adult steelhead, 2 Browns and 2 ½ pounders. I had Bryce and Jim Jessup from Rocklin. On Friday, Gene Birdwell from Citrus Heights and James Henry from Walnut Creek for the last day fishing for 2010. We went 3 for 4 with 2 nice adult hatchery 9 and 5 lbs. The first fish was caught side drifting roe and the other 2 on plugs in the Upper Trinity River. The river was in perfect shape, just a little cold. The river is going to push out some nice steelhead now.

    that is good news, I have been waiting to go up to junction city and finally I am only 2-3 weeks away. I expect it to be good all the way up into lewiston.
