Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing report

We were out on Lake Okeechobee on Monday September13th and landed about 10 bass in a half-day before the heat and bugs chased me off the water. I landed this nice 5 lb. bass in the east wall area . We haven't fished Lake Okeechobee in about one year because the South Florida Everglades was red hot through the spring. Low waters usually make the Everglades near Ft. Lauderdale is probably the best fishery for numbers of largemouth anywhere in the world.
