Hey guys, wondering if any of y'all have ever been or go fishing in or around bristow/manassas area. My dad lives out there and he has been asking me to take him fishing but I have never fished there, wondering if anyone has any good freshwater spots in that area in VA, thanks guys.
Hi, I am not sure what kind of fishing you are looking for as I fish mostly for trout but will try to help you out. Head down 95 south a bit to the Rappahannock River. You can get into some smallmouth bass and redbreast sunfish above Fredericksburg. Also it is soon time for shad and striped bass run past Fredericksburg now that Embrey Dam has been completely removed. Check out....http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/fishing...lay.asp?id=170
