Started working as a mate for local charter boats when I was 13 years old, yes 13, fishing with them on weekends and through the summer. In 1993 I made the decision that fishing was how I was going to make a living. Knowing it was not going to be easy, I chose this path anyway. Having thousands of hours "sea time" under my belt before I was 17, went to sea school to get my captain's license......ran my first charter in 1995 being captain. From then till now at the age of 34.....thinking back on all I have seen and acomplished, charters, tournaments, fun fishing with family and friends, commercial fishing, boat yards, repairs, bad weather streches and the slick beautiful mornings...... I would not trade any of it for nothing. I love what I do, this is the way I provide for my family and my heart. Fishing and being out on the water is simply just who I am, it is what I know. I care and respect the water along with all of it's gift's it provides. Please don't take this away.
