No fishing?? Who runs this govt, the Taliban?

My fondest memories growing up were fishing with my grandfather in the Indian River Bay, DL. 25 + years ago I began to continue the tradition with my wife and 5 children. I have spent the last 6 years keeping my boat in West Ocean City, Maryland at Sunset Marina. I spend a solid 4 to 5 months there on a regular basis plus weekends in the off-season. I support local small businesses such as:

• All Tackle
• Ake Marine
• Jim's marine
• SquidNation
• Sunset Provisions

I spend alot of coin eating out at restaurants, not to mention yearly marina fees and everything else associated with owning a boat.

If I cannot start my boat up, head out the inlet and catch a tuna, flounder, or sea bass... well, maybe I do not need a boat than or a place to keep it. I will save alot of $$$ not purchasing gear and boat products from small businesses. I will miss dining at the Harborside, Shark, Mickey Finns, or the Marlin Club. I could not bear to go near these places again because it would bring back terrible memories of when I used to be able to take my family out on the water and maybe bring a fish or two back for supper.

What does no fishing in Ocean City (or any coastal town) mean to me? I will be saving alot of money because I do not need to go there anymore.........

I for one will not let our right to fish go away. I will fight for this right, fight for our inshore fishing; fight for our offshore fishing; and fight for all the freedoms that our fathers and granfathers have enjoyed since the beginning of this great country our ours.

They closed Black Sea Bass and it hurt my OC shop! In Florida, they closed the Red Snapper and Grouper fisheries and it hurt the fishing and tackle industry!

This is an important issue that we cannot ignore.
