Loss of Fishing
The loss of fishing in New York , or anywhere in the United States for that matter will have a catastrophic on the economy on all levels. It will cause the loss of hundreds of thousands if not milllions of jobs. First, tackle companies will have to lay off workers if not close doors all together, boat builders and engine manufacturers will follow. Marinas will close their doors as will many hotels and restaurants in coastal areas. This will create unsustainable pressure on a commercial real estate market that quite frankly can't handle any more than it's seeing already. It will put strain on the state budget here due to the loss of tax and tourism revenues. I will personally move from New York myself because It will only make it even harder to justify paying the highest property taxes in the country.
Being the cynical person I am,, I would probably persue an investigation of what the real motives behind an action like this would be.
I only wish people would wake up and realize that unions and political interest groups and lobbyists that were originally created to help abuses against people are the monster now that are helping to destroy this country and take away all of our freedoms. We are paying for them to stay strong. All of the donations to the WWF (world wildlife foundation) that people thought would help save the cute cuddly kuala bears are now being used to try and shut down our oceans.
I have dreamed about taking my son fishing since he was born and now we may see that RIGHT taken from us. I really hope this makes people think more before they vote. Investigate before you vote in the future, special interest are stripping our rights and Freedom.
Sorry if this is a rambling, I am almost in shock right now. I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK !!

That's just honest. I've been fishing since I could talk and it is my favorite sport .....hunting even coming in second. Our family is 100% outdoors and I'm already planning a move west. God Bless you all and good luck
