Living to Fish

As a charter boat captain, commercial fisherman, and full time fun fisherman, fishing is much more than a hobby to me. It's the way I support my family, one major way I spend time with my family, and the only hobby I have anymore. Needless to say, it's an obsession. I live, eat, breath and sleep fishing. If we were no longer able to fish, I believe I would go insane. Some of my favorite memories of childhood were with my fishing with my family. I hope my daughter will be able to say the same thing when she is my age. Fishing for me is a way of life, much more than a job, career, or just something to do. I not only work to live, I live to work. Through the good times and the bad, nothing settles my soul like wetting a line.
