Fishing has been a way of life for our family for 40+ years . My grandfather operated a commercial fishing and lisense for 20 of them.

Our area, around the annapolis, is a mecca for fishing. When I was young I worked with a local tackle shop tieing bucktails during the winter by the thousands it seemed like. That same tackle shop at the end of a dead end road in pasadena still supplys 100 of fisherman with these hand made babys. But while in there they may buy some ice (local ice shop in easton) I know I do, may buy some those new bushel baskets
(made in crisfield) and stop in and see the marine repair guy in the rear to ck on that major service needed for his new yamaha.

So this guy walks in to on local store and spend 120$ today and schedules a 500$ service with the guy in the rear building.
These are local guys with local house that have kids that go to local schools.

Do the math thats thousands of dollars being spent at this one place alone, I know of 10+ more of these tackle shops are in the area that operate just like that. Now do the math now your taking about hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As I writing this Im looking a my daughter thinking about her future and the sport I have been enjoying with my family for 20+ years may be gone in a few.

Seem to me it time to rebel or relocate.
