All too clear, the oval office continues its run at steamrolling over our rights as fishermen... The latest signing of the act by Obama falls into what I consider a declaration of "cultural genocide"... Its obvious that he nor his band of crooked henchmen care one iota about our livlihoods. At a time when unemployment is high and the economy is in the basement this is an abomination!
You want my vote? Simple way to EARN it is to step in speak up and stop this farce before it goes any farther... Yeah, I'm just one vote but there are a whole lot of "we the people" on that same page... I can not and will not endorse any politician who remotely aligns himself in favor of the current policies. It has reached a point not only will I not endorse but I will campaign heartily for any candidate who opposes the direction we are headed.
Just one vote... Just one boat... Here's a hard number to look at for that one boat: $61,000... Thats the amount we won't be spending traveling fishing this year in the United States due to present species restrictions. Thats not saying we aren't fishing or spending. It just won't be domestically... We will continue to fish in the waters that are far better managed just a couple hours away in the Bahamas.
