I have fished for 51 years now and I can say I don't know of a better way to relax and unwind from the day to day grind that life sometimes throws your way. I find it astounding that someone reguardless of party affiliation would even dare suggest the closure of something like fishing that affects the lives of countless millions. People in boat building and repairing and storing and mechanics and tackle makers, dealers, retailers and local mom and pop bait shops and the list goes on and on, the people that are being affected by this non science regulating of species. I am all for saving some for future generation but I believe first and foremost their regulating and even closing of fisheries should be done on proper science not pulling numbers out of a hat or thin air. In this current economic disaster I do not believe is the time to do all this foolishness and I promise you I will not forget from now on when I go to vote at the ballot box, and trust me I will be there. I will be voting out all this dead weight we have in our States and in Washington who are drunk on the influence of power and are not listening to WE THE PEOPLE. Now is the time to send them all home unemployed and start from scratch and get people in there that will look out for the people that put them in office not special interest groups.
