Pit Monkey First Class
I don't have pictures yet!
A little over a year ago my life changed. The military had taken me places and shown me things that you would think change your view of the world. The third world countries and broken bodies placed on my aircraft did just that, but not as much as the events of 10-29-2008. That was the day my first child was born. Things in my life changed that day. I was no longer #1. I don't look at the changes in our future as affecting me, but affecting my kids (another one on the way in July). As a parent I see it as my responsibility to show them and provide them all the opportunities that I had enjoying the outdoors. But it is also my job to teach them to be more responsible handling the precious resources that we enjoy. As a parent and citizen that is my duty and pledge.
For those in Washington, remember that you are an employee of the citizens of the United States of America. The position that you hold is a priviledge provided you by our good graces. All of you have failed to produce a quality product and have not listened to your employer. Any average person that would act in such a way would be fired and replaced.
I ask that you reevaluate your lack of attention to your employer. I ask that you work with your employer to assure our future Americans even better resources that the good lord has graced us with.
For those in the fishing (all fisherman) community, I will continue my support for you through my children and look forward to creating lasting pictures enjoying our great resource. That is what fishing means to me.
