Sunset Marina is hosting the "3rd Annual Branch Kreppel Memorial Blue Marlin Tournament" on July 29,30, & 31, 2011. Last year's tournament was a great success and we plan on making this year's event even better. Branch Kreppel was a commercial diver who died suddenly in late 2008. He was known throughout the community for his exemplary service, positive attitude and uplifting nature. Branch was always there for us and now it's our turn to be there for his family. Branch left behind a wife, Tammy, and two children, Parker and Paige. All proceeds from the tournament go directly to benefit Branch's family.

2010 Tournament



The 2010 tournament payout was over $25,000. We should also note that there is a hold over from the 2010 tournament of $3,000 in the level G Winner Take All Tuna category, and also a hold over of $1,000 in the Level JJ 75/25 Dolphin category that will go towards this years tournament. 1st place most points in this year's event will be awarded a custom Bodo Muche trophy.



Benefit Auction


In addition to the tournament there will also be a benefit auction on Sunday August 7th at 6:30 to help raise money to benefit Branch's family. See details below.
