This motor has been at the shop for a while. As you can see it's fairly clean in my opinion The emblems are real nice in my opinion. This would be an easy restoration project or just run it like it is. It'll be an eye catcher wherever you go. I finnally got around to servicing it. I did a fair amout of work to this motor Work done to the motor includes Installing a Fuel Pump so there is no need for a Preasure Tank system. Motor will run off any single line fuel tank with a Johnson or Evinrude fuel connector. The Lower unit was taken apart and gone through. All new Seals were installed in the Lower unit along with a new water pump. The contact points between the Clutch and the Forward Gear were machined. Ignition was taken apart and gone through. Coils tested good Condensers were replaced with new ones. Points were cleaned and gapped. New Spark Plugs were installed. A new Head Gasket was also installed. Carb was taken apart and cleaned and had a rebuild kit installed. Motor has a freshly rebuilt prop on it as pictured. I ran this motor in my test tank at the shop as seen in the video PLEASE NOTE: back ground noise on the video is the Exhaust Fan on the test tank NOT THE MOTOR. As you can see in this video. Motor idles well shifts smooth stays in gear. Throttle was very responsive Water pump was working strong. Please Note if Tootalls Outboards says a motor runs we show it running not just sitting on a saw horse. Good Luck Bidding This is a Fresh Water Used SHORT SHAFT MOTOR To Be SOLD AS IS.
