I am selling a counter rotating pair of 2006 Mercury Optimax 225hp outboard motors standard 25 inch shaft length. Note only the motors alone with no controls or props is being sold in this auction to keep the price as low as possible for those who are repowering. These motors make the most power with the least amount of weight and only consumes half the fuel of a conventional two stroke. If needed I have a set of controls and Stainless Mirage Props available for an additional fee. If you are seriously interested in the motors or need the controls I can also be reached at 561 339-2157 William Cazanas. These Opti's are being sold at a wholesale price and if only needing one motor I would consider breaking up the pair, give a call to discuss. The motors run perfect and were just fully serviced at the Merc dealer and are now available for purchase. These are virgin motors which are all original never been taken apart, rebuilt, or tampered with other then routine maintenance. Note: the 225 decal which was on the rear of the engine cover was startng to peel and has been removed. I can't stress enough the motors run great and will not disappoint. The winning bidder if picking up the motors can pay in person or a Bank check will be required for payment. I can crate and ship the motors to your nearest home town UPS freight terminal for pick up or a business with forklift for $295.00 additional for each motor for the southeast and east coast of U.S. or $350.00 additional for each motor for the mid and west coast of U.S. excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
