2003 150 HP Johnson/Evinrude/BRP Outboard Motor 2003 150 HP Johnson/Evinrude/BRP Outboard Motor Carbureted Power tilt and trim 25" shaft Good compression in all cylinders Good running condition Clean motor New water pump New spark plugs New gear lube Low hours Serviced and inspected this month by Johnson/Evinrude Outboard Motor specialists Includes heavy-duty motor stand as pictured Includes Teleflex SeaStar Hydraulic Steering Cylinder # HC5345 as pictured Does not include prop (and no prop is in the pictures) I purchased this motor used in February 2007, with the intent to place it on the back of a Zodiac inflatable boat, but I never bought the boat. I chose this motor because of the horsepower and because it was the highly sought-after carbureted model. Since my February 2007 purchase, this motor has been on the pictured motor stand in an air-conditioned climate-controlled indoor secure storage facility. Last week, I took this motor to a highly recommended Marine Service Center that specializes in Johnson/Evinrude outboard motors to inspect and run the engine prior to placing the motor in this auction. The service technician who performed the inspection and diagnostics liked the motor, and said it looked like it had been used only in fresh water. Cosmetically, the motor is in good shape, with the exception of a small crack in the cowling and needs a little bit of touch-up paint. The small crack is located near the fitting of the cover, and can be seen in the open-cover side-motor picture number 8. I also noticed one screw missing near the top of the engine, but it does not affect the running of the engine. Any interested buyer is welcome to inspect this motor prior to this auction closing. The motor is located in Naples, Florida. The motor is sold AS-IS, with no express or implied warranty, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
