The AFFORDABLE CHARGING SYSTEM for the 470 Mercruiser. Now Engineered for Power Steering Units Available ONLY from HunFinn, Co Designed specially for applications where space is a factor. Up for auction is a complete Alternator Charging System designed to replace the existing charging systems prone to burnout and expensive repairs. Problem: The Original Equipment uses a stator that puts out continuous current and heat, so the water-cooled voltage regulator is subject to burnout. And even with an expensive replacement, the problem won't stay fixed! Solution: This new conversion kit utilizes the alternator found on most other MerCruiser stern drives which charges only when current is needed, producing less heat and less chance of burnout. Bonus: The new system is more energy-efficient, resulting in more miles per gallon and higher top-end speed. Unit also charges at idle speed and frees water flow through engine resulting in longer engine life. Unit Comes complete with all brackets, complete wiring harness, professionally remanufactured marine grade 74 amp alternator and necessary mounting supplies and drive belt.
