1982 Jeep Scrambler CJ8 This is a project Jeep. It has been garage kept for the last 5 years. I am not an expert on Scramblers however I believe this to be mostly original. It comes with full hard top installed. The passenger side piston for the rear window lift is broken away from the hard top. Also included is a bikini top and the parts to install the bikini top after the hardtop is removed. The wheels on the Jeep in the photos are not original however I believe the original wheels are the second set that is included in the sale. I used this as a daily driver for the summer prior to parking it. Starts and runs. Brakes are "soft". I would not trust driving the Jeep to its new home. A rebuild of the carb is needed. There is frame rust near the rear axle and body rust in many locations. Also included are the original back seat, rear spare tire holder and a few other parts I collected before parking the Jeep. I can e-mail a copy of the original window sticker if anyone is interested. The title is in my name the mileage listed as exempt (I do no know why). The speedometer works however has already required some tapping to have it engage. Jeep is being sold "as-is". Please ask feel free to ask questions.
