Nope, I checked on 'em one day and noticed that they weren't moving... Oops...!!!

Yea, looks like these two are veering away... I am not as worried this year as I was last year... I know more what to expect - we know how the house held up. We know that we have an excellent place to go inland if it's really really serious. It's all been tested now...!!! We have a few more things in place than we did last year. We know what we'll do differently...

But it sure gets your adrenalin going when the first ones start showing up because still... this is a flat island 3 by about 20 miles... not a lot of places to run...

As fellow "expatriots" we watch the radar with great interest. We were hit pretty hard a few years ago.

Nevertheless, the palm trees, beautifully clear water and the lifestyle make it worth it. There's just nothing quite like the caribe.

Well La Gringa Looks like Ana skirts by to the south. After last year with Ike this should be nothing more than a long thunderstorm. Stay safe down there.

I hope so altho the wind has picked up quite a bit this afternoon. I heard some advisories for the southern Bahamas (which usually means us too) on the VHF. I wish we had something to measure wind speed up on this hill...!!!!
