Yea, looks like these two are veering away... I am not as worried this year as I was last year... I know more what to expect - we know how the house held up. We know that we have an excellent place to go inland if it's really really serious. It's all been tested now...!!! We have a few more things in place than we did last year. We know what we'll do differently...
But it sure gets your adrenalin going when the first ones start showing up because still... this is a flat island 3 by about 20 miles... not a lot of places to run...
As fellow "expatriots" we watch the radar with great interest. We were hit pretty hard a few years ago.
Nevertheless, the palm trees, beautifully clear water and the lifestyle make it worth it. There's just nothing quite like the caribe.![]()
