Moved to the Keys........

We bought an Ocean 55 in July 2009 to live on. I was selling boats in Maryland when I was asked if I wanted to run a Marina in Islamorada, FL, how could I refuse? So in Feb, 2010 we made the move. Here are some pictures from our adventure so far.

Anyone looking to fish the Keys this year, keep me in mind. We have a brand new facility, with 126 Dry Stack storage, and 20 in water slips.

This was the trip of a lifetime for all of us. I had the boat in Norfolk from Dec until the time we left. I put the family back on in Charleston, SC, and they made the rest of the trip with me. The kids could not believe what they did and saw. Living here is unreal....there is such a thing as "island time". Everything down here does move at a slower pace(something I am getting used to).

congrats on your move.....so much for the road noise & dirt from Rt 50 @ Piney Narrows.....the Keys are tranquility personafied.....also a wonderful marine enviroment to raise your children.......no doubt your family will love it.....

in a few years get your little ones a Boston Whaler and they can relive the show Flipper all over again....."kids exploring the marine habitat".......

Already have the 11' whaler tied up behind the Ocean. My daughter thinks she is living the "Flipper" lifestyle.
