Not really. I'm not too well equipped for bridge fishing. I did venture off the reef and upon going below to grab some rods my 1st mate took water over the bow and insisted I return to the helm! The forecast was for 4-7 footers and they were right!

Got a new CC for the Key's. 2000 Ocean Runner 21 with a 250 on it. Great boat, a lot like a Paramount. The boat is perfect for down here. Shallow draft, and saw 53.5 MPH with the whole family on the boat.

Hoping to have a t-top on her in the next week or two.

The kids fished the Word Wide Sportsman Kids Tournament again this year. My son took 3rd place in his division, and my daughter took 5th in her division. We decided to do back county again this year because we didn't feel like taking the big boat out, and the weather was not the greatest. We ran into the Everglades National Park to Rabbit Key, and the kids caught some nice mangrove snappers. We saw three waterspouts, and the kids lost interest about an hour and a half into it. Jack weighed a .8 Lb mangrove snapper, and Delaney weighed a .7lb mangrove snapper. Great day with the family, and a great way to wrap up Jack's and my birthday weekend!!! Got to love kids that love to fish!!!

Oh by the way the dolphin bite is pretty good here right now. This is friends of ours on their 34 Yellow Fin. They had three days like this at the end of last week.
