Thumbs up Gringos in the TCI Photo Blog

I just signed up here. Got a message suggesting I make my first post a "hello" on this thread. So, here is a "hello".

Wife and I moved from the USA to the Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies, over two years ago. We are building a house here. We have a 22 ft. Andros panga, and we boat and fish 52 weeks a year. We are not on the water every day, but certainly several days a week. We also sometimes drive an 18 ft. Whaler. We fish a lot. Dive for conch and lobster. We take a LOT of photos.

Is that an okay hello?

You lucky bunny! I can see from your blog that it's a beautiful part of the world with, apparently, some really good wahoo and blue marlin fishing.

Regards

Welcome to SFC! Boy am I jealous of you. I spent 10 days in Provo a few years ago for a buddy's wedding and what a beautiful place that is. Beautiful waters, and great fishing. I'm looking forward to hearing (and seeing) all of the happenings down there. Again, welcome!

Thank you. I actually started a thread on another forum that took off, presently up to something like 60 pages and 115,000 views. At the suggestion of some readers, we established a blog site with all that. I think the blog is up to something like 90 pages now, with literally hundreds of photos of the TCI. I would be happy to post some photos here. I imagine some of the winter-bound readers might like the odd clear water/tropical scene photos. Like, maybe a sunset from Pine Cay?:

The blog actually gets more into what it's like for two expats moving here and building a house etc. Probably not stuff for a boating forum.

Where's the best place on here to post photos?
