This is the eighth place I have hung my hat in the past six years. I am really hoping that this is it for a while. It's a bit daunting to realize that it's going to be another year at least before this place feels 'finished'. If it ever does.

Mr Gringo and Miss La Gringa, YOU are living the dream of many of us. I've often said that if I ever hit the lottery I would buy myself and island in the South Pacific, I see now, through you, that I wouldn't have to travel that far to have my own little paradise. I first started reading your thread/posts only a few hours agoand have enjoyed the stories, experiences, fishing trips, island hopping, and especially the pictures (yes, even the new house, it shows the water
). I tip my hat to you and thank you for showing us all another little piece of the world on a more personal level than what we've seen in the movies and in documentaries. I look forward to seeing more adventures in your explorations ("X" marks the spot
).

Thanks, Wooky. If you like the photos on SFC, you can also check out our blogsite for more of the same.
And also, you should check out Capt John's thread here on SFC about his recent move to Ambergris Cay here in the TCI. He's got some great photos on here as well.
I am sitting here right now drinking my coffee, and waiting for the sunrise to see if its "good enough" to warrant a photo. Now THATS spoiled.
We also have to make another night boat trip to a dinner party on another island tonight. Not looking forward to it without moonlight. I am going to HAVE to find some kind of headlights for the boat.
well, okay, it was sorta an average sunrise, as our new local sunrises go...
But the winds have finally given us a break. The sea is pretty calm. And even better, there are some rain squalls to the north that might come by. Then we get the sound of the rain on the metal roof and a few hundred gallons of water into the cistern as an added bonus...
Yeah Gringo....I would say that if you have to decide if the sunrise warrants a photo, you might be a little spoiled. You took the leap and deserve everyone you get to see. I kinda consider it my sunrise as well so thanks for the pic
