    Gringo (TCI minister of tourism),

This thread is better than the 'other one'. You are getting me fired up for our trip there in 6 weeks time.

Question - does Trish's operation reliably get far enoguh out for real pelagics or would I be better of w/ Silver Deep for that?

Hi Fess, and yeah, we been to that little island several times. It's called Little Water Cay. We go by it every time we leave Leeward for Pine Cay. Its thick with iguanas.
Here's a small one looking at our friend Hammer's boat on the beach there:

Thats not the only place that has them. They are on Pine Cay and lots of the other small cays. This was in the back yard of where we stay on PC:

Did you know that if a Jack Russell Terrier grabs one by the tail it will shed the tail as a survival diversion and the tail wriggles like its alive while the iguana gets away into the bushes to grow a new one? The tail comes apart right at that dotted line you can see on it, and it has all these strange looking fibers sticking out of it and it freaks out your wife when you pick it up to look at it while its still wiggling.
Don't ask me how I know this, but I do.

See, by looking at the tail of this guy, one might assume he is familiar from past experience with the playfulness of certain obnoxious little dogs....

They also will puff up their bellies with air and swim like crazy from island to island in the ocean. It is rumored that they can swim faster than certain obnoxious little dogs....

Hi Johnny, good to see you here! Hows things? As for the Offshore Thermal Energy Conversion program using the delta T of deep water and ammonia as a transfer medium to generate electricity in near shore, deep water applications....I never heard of it.

Igauana, to be honest I think you should go with Silver Deep if you want to get way offshore. Arthur Dean has the boat for it, all rigged up. CTW can do it, too, but its the diff between the 26 ft. World Cats and Dean's sportfisherman.

Nope. We bought the metal detector while the boat was in the yard. Took metal detector out in the ocean, it didnt work. This is a photo of our new underwater metal detector not working. You can tell it didnt work because I am still posting photos on an internet forum instead of trying to figure out what to do with all that gold.

Seriously, what WOULD you do if you found a bar of gold in someone elses country...
What if it had historic marks on it? Would you melt it down and make little gold flip-flop bracelet charms with it?

I hope its just a matter of us getting used to it. Its got a lot of knobs. Just now getting the boat back to where everything works, after prying it loose from the yard. We need to take the detector down to the beach and mess around wif it. Its supposed to be a good one.

Besides, we got lots more interesting sites underwater to check with it.

If I found a bunch of bags of white powder in a cave someplace, I wouldnt know what to do with it. I think I would rather seach for things that DONT dissolve in water. Ever.
