Did anyone else catch Gringo's statement in the rover thread that he would not be posting to SFC anymore since it had become overrun by folks who seem to enjoy demeaning others?

THEY WERE HONORED BY BEING GIVEN THEIR VERY OWN FORUM ON SFC ....A SLICE OF HEAVEN....NICE.

BUT FACT OF THE MATTER IS...THE VAST MAJORITY OF MASTERBATING MONKEYS ON SPORTFISHERMEN DOT COM DID NOT SUPPORT THIS FORUM OF THIS DUO FOR WHATEVER REASON.

If I may interject. There have been quite a few posts in the past that were somewhat derogatory towards La Gringa. I don't know the full history between them and the other posters, if this was serious or just banter between people that have known each other. But some of the comments seemed quite rude.
I do not believe in public suicides. No one is holding anyone. If there is a problem it should be brought to the attention of the offending person(s). If it can't be resolved then bring it to admin's attention.

Personally why is it when winter comes every year this shit goes on.

No offense but we try hard. Tim tried real hard to help lagringa and maybe tim miss understood and did not help the right way.

Anyway seems this time of year things always get nuts.
Fact is im asked to ban at least 5 to 10 people a week.
Im asked to ban people who normally post cool shit during good times of the year.

Sadly everyone has time to allow peoples post to bother them. During fishing season people dont even see it or bother to acknowledge it.

Sadly instead of dealing with this I close the browser as some of you should also.
But fact is people like drama.
They just can not resist seeing someone say something, so like a bug to a flame it keeps going on and on.

All I know is we are working on some amazing shit for 2010 and dealing with people arguing in the middle of the winter does not help us with launching more cool things.

Well I really like this site for the valuable info here and may be one of the best sites around for fishing. I go to several and they are not as detailed as this one. This site has a great reputation for knowledge and I was turned on by a very respected shop here in town.
I think what Gringo is getting at is not directly at one individual but the few that jump on others and tend to be a pack of dogs on a poor, cute little kitten with fluffy fur. Ok maybe not like that, but there is a ton of bickering and is is just not needed. Ok so you say get thicker skin, man up, close the thread if you don't like it, sure everyone gets that. The question is, why does everyone feel so inclined to bash one another when this place is for knowledge and good fortune? Sure people disagree but do it in an adult way rather than going grade school on someone you don't even know.
Now I realize I do not have the most posts in the world or have much history in this site, but I know quality when I see it and this site has it. But I also see a bunch of nonsense and wasted energy. Not trying to ruffle feathers or fish in your honey hole just expressing the same as some of the others. I am sticking around to learn and hope give a tip or two.
