15 days

Well it has been 15 days. Is time standing still down there in the Gringo Casa. The family should all be gone back to the states by now and Gringo should have the Contender motor back together. There has not been a hurricane so the Kayak should still be in the garage bunker. Did the sunsed cam fall off its mount? Did the sun quit setting in the Turks and Cacios? So where is the latest blog update? At least one inquiring mind wants to know.

we have not been on our boat in two months....

Gringo has been working on the boat and other diy stuff and i've been working and riding my bike...

we were going to sea trial today but the weather turned to crap... it's looking better Friday and over the weekend... knock on wood, cross your fingers, throw salt.. all that good stuff...

how do you know it's not because he owes me big time?

sea trial today.... the engine's running better. we're not out of the woods yet - it still starts running rough at WOT after about a couple minutes.... but still we feel like maybe we could do a little island hopping this weekend...

I enjoyed the latest blog post. Good to see some faces on the kayak instead of the back of a head.

Sorry to hear that the Yama is giving you such a fit. When I saw the color of your fuel lines, my first thought was my motor when the fuel attacked the fuel hose liner and closed it off till you could not get the led of a pencil through it and weakened it so when the motor drew for fuel, the lines would collapse. I feel for you with getting this fixed.

For what it is worth, I really enjoy your DIY projects. Love your new compressor...
