2008 Premier Cast-A-Way PTX Pontoon Boat - 4 stroke
2008 Premier Cast-A-Way PTX Pontoon Boat - 4 stroke Vehicle Description 2008 Premier Cast-A-Way 251 this is the Pontoon of all Pontoons. PROPULSION The engine is a 2006 but was placed on the boat new in 2007 - it is not a used motor, they we purchased together - It has a stainless steel Yamaha Reliance Series Propeller and Sea Star Hydraulic Steering. Aprox 300hrs SOUND SYSTEM KENWOOD AM/FM CD Sirius Sat Radio Ready, 2 front speaker were upgraded to 5 1/4 Kicker Component speakers. There are 2 Wake board speakers on the ski tow bar and a concealed subwoofer box all powered by a 3-4 channel Sony Xplod 600 watt amp. also has an I-POD adapter and 3 sets of controls. You can operate all functions of the stereo system from the helm, the port side of the rear helm or port side front captains chair. HULL Not a traditional triple tube. The center tube is a flat surfaced V-hull Design. This allows for faster planing times and better top speeds and all around less drag in the water. also the outer pontoons have the lifting strakes mounted inboard of the tubes which provide incredible handling. A Must See Visit http://www.pontoons.com/ptx_performa...vantage_video/ to see it in action. YOU WILL BE SOLD HELM There is a Flex Steel captians chair on a raised "Captains View" helm platform - this gives the driver a vantage point by being seated approx. 5" higher than all passengers. There is curtisy lighting all around the base of the helm for night time enjoyment. The captains controls include - Yamaha throttle and shift assy. - Lowrance X52 fishfinder/ dept finder - Garmin GPS map 76 that is linked to a Cobra MR-F75 Marine radio in case of a distress situation. press one button and all your information is sent directly to the Coast Guard (location and vessel description) Full instrumentation to include - fuel- rpm - trim - battery - and speed. there is a small storage compartment at the drivers feet. in front of the wind shield there is a built in 35 gallon live well. Behind the driver there is a rod locker to hold 3 fishing rods out of the weather and most of your daily necessities (sun screen, bug spray, towels etc....) OVER ALL FEEL You will not find a nicer better handling pontoon on the water. With a top speed of 42Mph and a good cruising speed of 23mph at 4000rpm you can travel 100+ miles on a single fill. Pull skiers, tubes, wake boards all day long with plenty of power to spare. bring a sandwich or cook on the portable stainless steel grill and spend a complete day on the water. great for wild cards who want a party barge or for a family with children. It will not disappoint - there are some dents in the pontoons from normal docking (can send pictures) third time pontoon owner -it is enevidible. boat still looks great TRAILER The trailer is a Wesco hot dipped trailer with dual axles. all tires and rims are brand new (cheaper to buy tires and rims than to just get tires) but i have a second set of rims and tires. It has a spare tire mounted with a jack and 4 way. it has a single axle hydraulic surge brake system (brakes dont work rite now). these will be fully replaced upon payment (all components will be brand new) i dont need the brakes with the weight of my truck. the trailer is set up specific for this boat with a flat plat form for the center hull. Fulton F-2 trailer jack. EXTRAS Full Belly Sheeting -this prevents water from getting trapped in the hulls cross beams and reduces drag 2 extra stereo controllers 600 watt Sony Xplod Amp (for the sub and tower speakers) Tower speakers (X2) Upgraded Kicker component front speakers Subwoofer Porta Potty I-Pod adapter stainless Steel grill (aft) 4 Corner removable fishing pole holders High power washdown kit (mounted at rear helm) 14 life jackets distress and first-aid kit docking lines 4 bumpers Igloo cooler with hold downs anchor throwable PFD Ski rope with handle tool kit (just incase) never had to use it on this boat but nice to have all items are either stowed on the boat or already installed More... |
