mercury 40hp oil injected 1987 Vehicle Description oil injected mercury 40hp. engine was on my 16ft aluminum boat. had it services two years ago. works good. compression etc. good. comes with steering cables, throttle assembly and cable, ignition/shifter assembly. also included is a separate trim and tilt bracket with up and down buttons that mount on steering console area. this trim and tilt unit does not work at the moment but it did. needs some tlc no doubt. reason I'm selling is that I replaced the engine with an almost new one. as I said engine did work when I last had it on the boat and I also had it serviced and tested by dealer before I decided to replace it.
