Completely rebuilt 1957 Owens-Staples motor cruiser Vehicle Description Completely rebuilt 1957 Owens-Staples motor cruiser: This boat was used as a Maine River Patrol Craft, and rumored to have made many late night crossing from Canada to Northern Main in the late 1960â??s and early 1970â??s. She is 15â?? from stem to stern, 6â?? 4â?? across the beam, 6â?? across the stern, and her transom is 20â?? in height. She has a new 2â??oak transom as well as her keel, she is outfitted in brass and stainless steel. Her interior decking is oak, her hull and primary decking has been fiberglassed. She has been completely painted with Interlux Marine Paint, and finished to a mirror shine. She comes with the original wind screen, and steering wheel with fittings. She also has the brass fitting for the drain plug, all of which have not been installed. She comes with a 1957 2000# Sterling Tilt trailer; this trailer is very unique as is equipped with coil springs, torsion bar, shocks and 15â?? wheels, plus a spare. Many hours of TLC have gone in this project and it has paid off as you can see from the pictures.
