20' House boat Vehicle Description Up for auction is a 20' house boat that I have hand built from plywood,fiberglass and epoxy resin. The plans were purchased from www.berekely-engineering.com . Check out the site and click on "more aqua casa's" there you will see additional photos and a detailed descriptive story on my boat. The boat cruises at about 10mph witha 40 hp 2cycle. In the cabin is a sofa with 4" cusions that converts to double bed. A toilet room with porta-potty and lav with hand held shower. There is hanging locker that encloses a 2.5 gallon water heater and electric panel. The boat is equipped with ac-dc systems and 700 watt inverter. The galley has tile counter,small sink microwave, and apartment style fridge. A small table and two chairs complete the interior. The storage box on the roof contains a 30 gallon water tank and pump with plenty of room to spare. The boat is designed for calm inland waterways preferably with two persons. It makes a great weekend get-away on or off the water, I have trailered it to campgrounds. Since the boat was completed in 2001 I have experienced a few minor water penetration issues not affecting the hull. Those were easily repairable. The tires are original and should be replaced. This unit is sold as is with no warranty.
