SHRIMP BOAT 74 FOOT ST AUGUSTINE TRAWLER, FREEZER BOAT Vehicle Description This boat is ready to go to work. i bought the boat for my son to work and it turns out, he dont want to work. I just spent 45,000.00 on a new freezer system that will bring the 500 box freezer hold, down to -5 F and hold it indefinatly. This install also included a 60 KW perkins generator set to operate all the boat systems. I have all the gear, rigging , and the Gulf Shrimp permit, all goes with the boat. The permits are impossible to get anymore unless you buy them from someone. There are approx 15 sets of nets . This boat is Seafflexed with 7 layers of seaflex and 7 fiberglass on bottom and the remainder of boat is 3 and 3 layers. She is a very dry boat and comfortable in seas, best i have ever been on in a 15 ft sea. She has stabilizers, 240 ft of new stainless 3 leg bridle and is currently set for pulling 4 nets. Boat is air conditioned and heated. The boat was hauled 2 years ago in bayou La batre, Ala and all bottom work done and new 4 blade 60 inck prop installed, (new) not rebuilt. The 3408 Cat engine has a little over 9000 hours on it so is just broke in good. it uses no appreciable oil. Boat has faruno 48 mile radar, faruno GPS, faruno marine hailer, sitex 6000 ft depth sounder, vhf radiox2. Boat has auto pilot and it does work. Boat also has Computerized Seaplot navigation system with every known hang or shrimping area in the Gulf of mexico. BOAT HOLDS 7500 GALLONS OF FUEL AND 1000 GALLONS FRESH WATER. You cant buy a boat like this for under 90,000.00, this one is starting at 50,000.00 no reserve. It will make someone who is willing to work a good income, about $400,000.00 per year.
