1989 Sea Ray Sundancer 250DA Vehicle Description 1989 Sea Ray Sundancer 250DA. Boat is in great shape with a ton of options. Just bought the boat and am now forced to sell due to moving out of the state over the winter(Florida). This is a large boat that will easily sleep 4 plus. 2-3 in large front V berth and 2 in the double aft cabin. Boat is in good shape for the year. Hull could use a wax and buff. Will need bottom paint in the spring if you are going to leave it in the water. Mercruiser 350/ 260 hp with bravo 1 outdrive. Engine and drive just serviced. Boat just had $1700 in repair work to include: Bellows, gimble bearings, shift cable, water pump, ect. Repairs done at 781 hours(14hours since). Boat has a ton of storage and a great layout. Large cockpit that will seat 8 adults including: double helm seat, side to side rear bench and 2 pull out jump seats. Great lighting throughout with indirect lighting in cockpit and 10 lights in the cabin. Boat has spent it's entire life a in freshwater river. Options include: pressure water system(galley sink, bath sink and outside spicket), 2 way hot water heater(110v/ heat exchanger), city water system(run off a hose on the dock), AC/DC Fridge(12 volt/ 110 Volt), CD w/4 speakers(2 outside 2inside), VHF radio, Depth Finder, Trim Tabs, snap on cockpit cover, Covertible top with boot/Camper canvas(has side windows and back), 2 way stove(ancohol/110v), onboard charger(dual automatic), dual batteries on switch, shore power with cord(30amp), trim tabs, full gauge package, pump out head(15 gallon holding), handheld shower, aft cabin, gas grill(lp mounts on platform), port hole covers(sunbrella snap on), port hole screens, remote spot light, fans, many more. Has auto engine bay fire ext.(HALON). All covers were just gone through and resnapped and stiched as needed. Will include everything to go boating: 9 life jackets and throw cushion, 2 fire ext., 6 dock lines, 5 bumpers, anchor and rode, water hose, prop wrench, dock hook, alcohol for stove, cleaning supplies, much more. We put 15 hours on the boat in September and it runs flawless. 795 hours on the meter. Engine is super clean. Lots of power and runs 35 mph @WOT and cruises nice at 25mph. Boat has tons of storage and screens and shades for every window. This is a 25 class boat with 27 class room. Everything on the boat works as it should. Boat was pulled out of the water Friday(10/16) and professionally winteized(have receipts). Winter storage is paid so that's an extra $800 value, includes launch in the spring. Have all receipts on boat. Marina will attest to the fact the boat is in good running condition at haulout. We can run the engine on land or for $200 the marina will put the boat in the water for a test drive. This is at buyers discretion and must be completed before auction end. Will show the boat if you want to see it. Whatever you want to do to be assured the boat is what I say it is. Like I said I have nothing to hide, no surprises here. I have the service records on the boat back to 1999 and it has always been professional maintained twice a year(spring/fall). I have all the original manuals for the boat for EVERY system. Merc service manuals for engine and outdrive. Outdrive was completely gone through a few years ago and less that 30 hours since. That is not including the $600+ in accessories I am throwing in. If you want to take it immediately it is where you can get a trailer under it. Boat was just licensed for 3yrs(Minnesota). There is a national boat hauling company up the road from me. I can get you a quote if you like. BOAT IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS! Boat has normal wear and tear for the year. I would say it is in average condition on the outside and above average condition inside. 795 hours is low for the year(40 per year average). Boat is water ready as it sits. What I know to be wrong: Hull could use a buff and wax, missing a few of the snaps on the boat for the covers, Needs the trim switches for the outdrive rewired, marina broke the wires off when they did the bellows. Trim works as it should gauge just doesn't read. Could use bottom paint if your gonna leave it in the water, may have a year left on it. Needs a new horn. Was broke at purchase and I didn't fix it. Checked the wiring and switch, just needs the horn.
