Boat Motor & Trailer 16 ft. Sea Nymph Fish and Ski 75HP
Boat Motor & Trailer 16 ft. Sea Nymph Fish and Ski 75HP Vehicle Description 1979 16 1/2 ft. Sea Nymph ( Aluminum Fish and Ski ) Boat with 1977 Johnson 75 H.P Stinger outboard motor and 1989 Shorelander Trailer. The boat itself needs a little TLC and it will be ready to go fishing. It shows quite a bit of weathering on the upholstery and has a lot of scratches and scrapes and fading in the paint etc. from being left outside. The floor is still pretty solid, carpet is in tact but shows a lot of wear. The steering is stuck in the straight position. ( I think it might need a new steering cable - costs about $150 for a new one ) I started it up today in the yard using a set of garden hose ear muffs for the water supply, and it popped right off and ran excellent. Water pump appeared to be working properly. It had not been started for 2 years prior to today and was stored inside for the past 2 years, but was left outside most of the time prior to that. The Depth finder appeared to be working, and the Trolling motor worked but I noticed it needs the power cables replaced from the battery to the controller and it ended up being stuck down in the run position. I think it just needs to be lubed up a little at the pivot points. ( as I said : this boat needs a little bit of TLC maintenance and I think it will make someone a good fishing rig. It has 2 livewells and both the Bilge pump for the live wells and the one in the bottom of the hull appeared to be in working condition. It has a brand new aluminum prop on the motor. I noticed a small piece of the skeg is broken off on the lower unit but shouldn't affect the performance of the motor. The motor also has a Hydrofoil anti-cavitation dolphin fin added on to it to help bring it up on plane quicker and to prevent bounce from too much cavitation. The trailer is in nice shape there is some rust spots in the paint but the metal is not rusted through. There are 2 batteries that come with the boat. There is an outlet in the front to charge the trolling motor battery so you don't have to pull the trolling battery out of the boat to recharge it. The boat has a built in fuel tank. I bought this boat with the intention of fixing it up over the winter, but probably won't have the time to do it and I really don't need another winter project anyway. So I thought I would list it to sell as is, maybe someone else is looking for an easy winter project or a cheap boat for next spring. I reserve the right to end the auction early since I have it for sale locally. I will require a $200 deposit paid through Pay-Pal 2 days after auction end and the balance paid at time of pick-up or prior to pick up through Pay-Pal unless other arrangements are agreed to. Must be picked within 2 weeks after end of auction at Tipton, Iowa. zip : 52772 More... |
