1974 Trojan Yacht Sportfisher 30' Vehicle Description This is a classic fresh and saltwater fishing boat. She is a 1974 Trojan Yacht, Sportfisher. The boat is 30 feet with a 11.5 foot beam. She has an upper cockpit where all driving controls are located. The cockpit its self is very spacious and could easily sit 5 people. The boat has been in storage the last two years. the last time it was in water was August of 07. The boat has been winterized except for last fall I had the engines started and then winterized again before this last winter. The engines run great and the boat is solid all the way around. Previous owners kept excellant care of the boat before I got her. The boat has up to date registration and is ready for the water, it only needs to be dewinterized. The trailer is as amazing and makes towing her around easy. The trailer has brakes and is worth 5,000$ alone. For the last two years she has been out of the water and on the trailer in storage. When I got her I had two new batteries, and gas put in so I could start her up. I have not made it on the water with her due to time , but the previous owner did in August of 07 and said she ran great. The boat has Twin 225hp Mercruiser that are inboard with V-Drives. The propellers and shafts are in good working order, and she shifts great. You can run one engine at a time if you want, both engines have checked by professional marine mechanics, that was the first thing I did when I got her. The boat is solid fiberglass with no problems with the hull except she might need a paint job under there. As far as I know all electronics work but she's a 74 and probably needs upgrades. The boat has everything you need to live on her, she only lacks a water & septic pumps for the sinks and toilet. You can find the pumps online and they are inexpensive, and easy to install. She has multiple bilge pumps, hydropic trim tabs, and a full enclosed canvas bikini top that goes around the cockpit. As far as I know the bilge pumps and trim tabs are in working condition. When I took her into the mechanics they said that everything looked in good working condition. This boat is in great shape for a 74, but she is in need of some general TLC. I dont want to sell her, she has amazing potential but with work I have no time to spend on her. This would be an easy project for somebody to work on who wants a great boat. The original owners manual comes with her so if there are any problems or questions with her, its there for your answers. The boat is SOLD AS IS, the buyer needs to know that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You can call with questions, i will answer as many as I can with the knowledge that I have of the boat...you can call at (469)964-0423. Remember ALL SALES ARE FINAL, and please only serious buyers who know what there getting into with owning a boat. You will also need a heavy duty truck to tow her...for example a ford f-250 with a 7.3 ltr V8, anything less might be a challenge. She probably weighs 10.5 to12.5 with the trailer. I reserve the right to end to auction at anytime, and buyer is responsible for picking her up. She can stay for a month if needed at her storage facility if buyer needs extra time for pick up arrangements. She is located in the DFW in Texas. Full payment is required within 24 hours of purchase-paypal, or cash only please. I have the title for her aswell, potential other arrangments can be made with me depending on what the situation is.
