1968 42' Chris Craft Sport Fisher sportfisher
1968 42' Chris Craft Commander sport fish sportfisher Vehicle Description Must sell! Beautiful 1968 42' Chris Craft sport fish. Her name is Blue Star and she is currently in Fall River, MA. She has two Mercruiser 8.1S HO (419 hp, fuel injected) gas engines that were installed in 2006 and have about 20 hours on them. The engines alone cost $16,000. All of the wiring and engine gauges were replaced when the engines were installed, and in 2007 the hull was painted. The batteries were replaced in 2006 and I don't know their current status. The boat hasn't been in the water since 2007. I talked to a gentleman at the marina who was the first to take her out after the new engines were installed. He said he traveled at 28 kts and only burned about 30 gph because the computerized fuel injection makes them very fuel efficient considering their great horsepower. The weight of the boat gives it a very smooth ride. Fuel capacity if 350 gallons and tank is full right now. There are two cabins (a v-bunk and one with two twins), head with shower, salon and kitchen. Helm in the salon and a fly bridge. Teak all around is in great shape. She could use a little finishing woodwork and a bilge pump but she is ready for the water. This price is for an "as-is" sale. If you appreciate the clean lines of 60's vintage then you'll certainly love this boat! More... |
