NICE KONA 17' SKI BOAT 140HP MERCURY OUTBOARD + TRAILER Vehicle Description I'm selling my 72' 17' Boat with a 140 horse power Mercury outboard. It seats six comfortably with back to back bucket seats on both sides in the front and a wrap-around bench seat in the rear. The white vinyl with blue piping is in excellent condition. There is new blue carpeting on the floor. The 12 gallon fuel cell is mounted under the bow for even weight distribution and leaves ample room for dry storage. There is also a small storage area under each seat. The engine is a 6 cyl Mercury model 1400. It starts easy and runs great. The power trim and tilt and dol-fins mounted on the cavitation plate make for fast planing even with 4 passengers and a skier or two. It also has a stainless steel propeller and you get the original aluminum propeller that is in perfect shape for a spare. Transom mounted trim tabs are in place for added lift and stability. This boat really flys across the water and it handles rough water very well. It's got a Rule 340 gph bilge pump and a marine deep cycle battery. It includes an anchor light pole and forward running lights. The tires on the trailer are new and the bearings are fitted with bearing buddies. The trailer is permenantly registered in CA. All of the lights on the trailer function properly. If you are looking for an "end of summer bargain" this is the boat for you. It could use a few odds and ends like any older boat but over all it's in great shape. The clear coat is peeling on the top decks and the float in the middle carb tends to stick a bit so I would probably pull all three carbs and clean them before summer. There is also a small rip on top of the drivers side seat that I would patch before it gets bigger. I might even take care of this before the auction ends if I hae time.
