BOW RIDER SKI/WAKE BOARD I/O 350 THROUGH THE HULL Vehicle Description Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE THIS IS THE NICEST 1983 BOAT YOU WILL FIND ON EBAY I have for sale a 1983 Dixie Boat Works. It is 19ft long in length. It is in excellent shape for its age. I have taken very good care of it for the 5 years I have owned it .The 350 Engine I have in it runs like brand new. I have a Alpha one out drive and a ss prop. I believe the pitch is 17 . I have a recently rebuilt the 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetor that sits on an aluminum Holly street dominator intake. I have a chrome dress up kit to give it the sex appeal it deserves. I had the transom redone on it this past year also and the motor mounts as well. I have had the upper unit rebuilt and a new water pump in the lower unit installed. I also put in a new gimble just to be safe. I also replaced the bellows at the same time. The out drive it is water tight. And so is the boat. I have a float switch bilge pump installed on it as well. The boat runs like a top and starts right up. It also sounds great with the threw the haul exhaust. I have not reinstalled a new Speedo since I replaced the transom. The boat runs about 52 mph and plains out at about 17 to 20 mph depending on the water that day. It has a lot of torque for getting up and going it is really good for skiing or wake boarding. Itâ??s also is a good fishing boat as well. There are two bays in the back that a live well could be built it to. I do have a problem with the one of the trim solenoids. I believe it is a lose wire though. Which if it is not it is a $20.00 dollar part. The trim still works just not by the switch. It will trim down but not up while driving. I will fix or just buy the part and give it to you with the boat. I work out of town allot so trying to see my kids and fix it itâ??s hard to find the time. I have redone all the seats with pt plywood but used the same covers. The interior is in good shape it doesnâ??t look bad and itâ??s not all faded and tore up. But itâ??s a matter of opinion. I have installed a new floor in it and carpet last year. All the stringers were solid and they were fiber glassed in so they were solid. It also has a pretty good stereo and speakers in it. I have owned the boat for about 5 years and it has never left me stranded or broke down. It is a very reliable boat and I get a lot of complements on when I clean it up. I can say it is a blast to drive. The trailer is nothing to brag about but I have a new axel and springs on it. Again I have been working out of town though for awhile and have had no time to enjoy it and with me and the wife splitting up there is no need for it in my life now. It is a great fun family boat with plenty of room for the family. I have 9 life vests a knee board and a ton of ski ropes and everything else you need to have a fun safe trip.
