Mainship Mediterranean 35
Mainship Mediterranean 35 Vehicle Description This is a "no reserve auction", a starting bid of $25,000 will guarantee a sale. Please do not bid if you don't have cash on hand. I will expect full payment within 5 days of the close of the auction. I will expect payment in cash or certified bank check drawn on a local bank. GOOD LUCK! This boat is a great family cruiser, I keep the boat in Barnegat Light on Long Beach Island in New Jersey and just recently moved the boat to a location in Toms River. I had not been on the boat for a month, started right up and had no issues. The boat is going up for sale because we find it difficult to find the time to enjoy it, we live in PA. We purchased the boat on the Peconic Bay on Long Island, set a direct course on the chartplotter and arrived at the Barnegat Light 10 hours later, great trip. We have had the boat 50 miles off shore fishing and never had a problem. The boat has a 12' 6" beam and a draft of 2' 10". Last winter the boat was hauled, winterized and serviced, bottom painted and hull waxed. The layout of the boat is a V berth forward (inner spring mattress), sleeps 2, aft to port is the head with seperate large stall shower along with electric head, continue aft is the dinette that converts to sleep 2 and the entertainment center and boat control panels. On starboard behind the Vberth are 2 closets, one for clothes and the other for the central vac, continue aft to the galley further aft to a couch that converts to a double bed. Aft of the salon are sliding glass doors that open to the cockpit. The bridge has ample seating with a full enclosure and there is also a bimini top that I have not used so not sure of its condition. There are also 2 windshield canvas covers but are worn and I light the open feel without them on. Outside the cabin there is a great fishing area with overhead lighting and 6 stainless steel fishing pole holders, 1 has a fish cleaning station in it. There is a walk-thru transom and integrated swim platform with swim ladder, there is also a shower. On the bow there is a windlass with remote operation from the bridge, large anchor with chain and almost new chain rope. There is also a bridge operated flood/spot light. The bridge has all the engine controls, trim tab controls. There is a radar system, chartplotter with 2 chips, VHF radio, digital compass, GPS, stereo and a depth/fish finder that needs some attention, works only sometimes. The galley has a new refrigerator with remote compressor to maximize space ($2,000.00), a new 2 burner cook top ($600.00) and a new stainless steel 12 gallon hot water heater ($800.00), there are 2 water tanks for a total of 80 gallons. The microwave works fine. There are cabinets and a 2 tier sink with counter top. There are also 2 new A/C/heat systems that were installed a 16,000 btu in the salon and a 10,000 btu in the Vberth, both with programmable digital controls ($8,000.00) The entertainment center has a TV/VCR/DVD/Cassette player with separators and amplifiers( I occassionally watch TV or listen to the radio but some of this is still a bit of a mystery to me. Within this area is also the electrical panels that control the boats systems. There are 4 batteries that were new 2 years ago, I believe series 31, an onboard battery charger with selector switch, 2 shore power lines with a 50amp to twin 30amp splitter. There are 3 auto bilge pumps, bilge blower and a fire suppression system. There is also an engine synchronizer. The boat is in overall great condition but as with any boat still needs some upgrades. The interior cushions are worn and should be replaced, we did not do this so that the new owner could do it to thier taste. The carpets were replaced 2 years ago. The bridge enclosure has some zipper issues and needs some work. The depth finder needs to be looked at or replaced. There is a 6.5 Onan generator that does not work. I have no need for it so I never had it repaired, I was told that it needs a new coil. Other than that the boat is ready to go. It has never let me down, was never towed and has been a fun boat. Never an issue with the engines that I believe have about 750 hours on them, always run in the 180 degree area. I have most if not all manuals that came with the boat new. I will try to sell the boat on Ebay, if it does not sell I will list with a broker, several brokers want to represent the boat. I am told a very fair number is $35,000.00 and at that number still on the low end price of similiar boats listed in Yacht World. This is a great opportunity to pickup a boat below market price. Send me a message if you want to inspect the boat and we can work something out. More... |
