1996 Mainship Sedan Bridge 40 Vehicle Description The Mainship 40 Sedan Bridge is a great boat for cruising or weekends spent at your local marina. We have been the second owners of this boat since 2000, and now we are selling it fully equipped...dishes, towels, safety equipment, lines, bumpers, hoses, coordinated bedding, full documentation, extra parts, etc. This boat is in very fine condition...lightly used by adults, freshwater only, well maintained. This boat is "move-in" ready. There is a large and attractive flybridge with a full enclosure, an open cockpit that can easily accommodate chairs and a table, a roomy salon, a full head with separate shower and two staterooms. An important feature of this model is that access from the cockpit to the bridge is via easily negotiated stairs...no ladders! In addition to the bridge to front deck opening option, there is easy passage to move forward and aft along the sides with ample stepping space and well-positioned grab bars and rails. The flybridge features a hardtop roof, interior lighting, and an EZ2CY enclosure with Valmex nautica fabric borders and helm cover. The helm has captain & companion seats aft and is equipped with full electronics and controls described below. Forward of the helm there is a center wet bar, storage cabinet and L-shaped guest seating to each side (could seat 7 or 8 in bridge area.). Storage areas are under the vinyl cushioned bridge seats. A center drop-down ramp takes you directly to the foredeck--this is ideal for convenient and maximum utilization of the deck space for sunning or observation while underway. The cockpit has bench seating to each side, a center transom door, a swim platform with transom bench seats, and a cockpit shower. All of the bench seats have color-coordinated vinyl covered removable snap-down cushions and storage areas beneath. There are 'rocket launcher' fishing pole holders set in behind the flybridge and a motor mount on the rear rail. From the cockpit, a full-sized sliding, screened door leads inside and down 2 steps to the salon. The salon has generous headroom, sliding-screened windows with coordinated window treatment, and several storage areas. There is an L-shaped settee forward. Port side there is a large horseshoe dinette and full service galley. Both the settee and the dinette convert to double berths which provide mattress space for 8 (total) if desired. The galley includes a full size Norcold refrigerator/freezer (AC and DC), a stainless steel sink, a two burner electric stove top and lots of storage in cabinets and drawers. A Panasonic microwave is built-in to save counter space. The galley has a wood floor, the countertops are in Corian, and there is cherry wood trim throughout. There are two staterooms forward. The guest stateroom is port side with upper and lower berths, a hanging locker and lots of drawer and cubby storage. Across the hall to starboard is the head which features a SeaLand Vacuflush toilet, a mirrored vanity sink molded into a Corian counter, and a separate shower enclosure with a bench and curtain. Doors provide access from either the hallway or the master stateroom. The master stateroom is forward with an island queen berth with a custom made, extra thick mattress, and there are hanging lockers to each side, storage shelves, under berth storage, and private access to the head compartment. Electronics include a Standard Horizon VHF receiver, Hailer, Raypilot 650 Autopilot, a Ray R21XX radar, and a Raytheon NAV298 GPS which provide excellent navigation assistance. Also included in the helm are a Ritchie compass, an engine synchronizer, a vapor detector, a remote controlled spotlight, a Lowrance depth gauge, and an electric horn. The boat has two 30 amp sockets and lines provide 110V shore power. There are three 12 volt batteries and a Dytec marine battery charger. Climate control is by two Marine Air 16,000 BTU AC/Heat systems. Included is a 10 gallon hot water heater, a Simpson/Lawrence Windlass with bow and bridge controls, electric trim tabs, cockpit and bridge courtesy lights, and two cockpit spreader lights. A marine security system is installed, with sensors on the sliding door, engine compartment hatch, and bridge access stairway. Engines are twin Marine Power 454 CID blocks with EFI delivering 390 HP each. There are two spare propellers. Dimensions - Length: 40â??; Beam: 13' 4"; Displacement: 20000 Lbs.; Draft: 3' 5" Engine Hours: 550 Cruising Speed: 20 Max Speed: 28 Tankage - Fuel: 310; Water: 105; Holding: 40 Included is a pipe frame attached by Kover Klamps for winter layup.
