I have a Thompson classic woody,that needs to be restored,and a good home. I am the third owner,after most of it's life being in storage ,in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan, and then used on fresh water Lake St.Clair. It has recently been outside,on land, till I bought it. It is still on it's original trailer,and carries the original 80 hp Johnson,I believe. The trailer has new tires,and is a tilt, but could stand a fresh repaint. The engine has had heads redone,carb work,and tune-up,and comes with double tanks. I think it was run in the spring,and will try to fire it up,and get it on film. There are more nice seat cushions,forward hatch,and horns,that are not in pictures. Also,the bimini top,but I would use it for a great pattern ,to have a new one crafted. I have lost my storage, and hate to see it covered up outside this winter. It is basically solid,and would be a good project for someone, needing mostly new plywood cut and varnished. I have lowered the price,for a quick sale. There is quite a bit of work needed,so I count a solid engine,tanks and trailer, as the majority of value. Add in all the complete hardware, and nice upholstery, and you have a solid value. It pulls very nice,and has a 2" ball, but you will need the magnet tow lights.
