1953 Mercury runabout with custom wood trailer fine Vehicle Description Nice solid1953 Mercury 16' Deluxe Runabout twin cockpit all wood boat outfitted with the original GREY MARINE PHANTOM 112/ 6 cylinder engine . The Speedometer says top speed is around 45mph. The upholstery is white and in perfect condition. The trailer is wood and was custum made for it. It has a cover. It is in covered storage when not in use. This boat has exceptional styling that is reminiscent of the early 1940's barrelback runabouts with it's arched back and pointed bow. It has a great two tone color scheme with the blonde stripe down the center. The bottom appears to be original and is in solid serviceable condition and swells up quite nicely. All of the original hardware is still on the boat.
