Low or no-feedback bidders must pre-qualify by sending an email with name and phone number. We may cancel any bids that do not meet these requirements. This vessel is available for sale locally. Since there only is one, we reserve the right to cancel auctions early. Your bid is a binding contract. Please do not bid unless you are prepared to complete the transaction. We leave appropriate feedback on all auctions. DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT: A refundable deposit of $2,000 via bank wire transfer or cashier's check by overnight mail is due within 48 hours of auction close. As donations, vessels are part of Pacific Marine Foundationâ??s three-year charter program. Under this program, you pay 95 percent of the agreed price to have the exclusive unrestricted full-time right to use the vessel, upgrade it or even sell the balance of your charter agreement as you wish. CLEAR title is held in escrow by a licensed, bonded Marine Documentation Service, similar to an Escrow or Title Company in real estate At the end of the three-year period, you may elect to purchase the boat by paying the remaining 5 percent of the originally agreed price, and clear title is transferred to you. During the charter period, you are responsible for all costs including registration, maintenance and insurance. There are no restrictions on where you can keep or use your boat.
