1983 Alumacraft john boat Vehicle Description You are biding on a verry nice 1983 alumacraft 15' foot john boat. I bought this from a buddy of mine two years ago, and only used it one summer. Now I just don't have the time with work. It has on flat bench in the rear and a flat deck up front. I went through and put down treated plywood fro the floor and add indoor carpet (gray) I also put in a storage box on the left side. Its about 4foot long and 3feet deep it will hold a lot of fishing gear. I put in two togel swichs that run the fog lights that are mounted on the front, and the red and green lights that are on the right and left side up front for night fishing. These light do work well. From what I can see thier is no structual damage or dents in the body of the boat, no holes for water to leak through. This boat does come with a shore lander trailer wich was new in 2000 at that time it ran around 1500dollers, It also has a new wench and tung that was put on. The bairings were pack last fall wich I do every year. The tires are in good condition all though the spair is NOT needs to be replaced but the rim is in good shape. I also added a 18horse johnson sea horse out board mortor, the year is 1955 I belieave or pritty close. I pick this up from a jentalman from the Des Moines area. The mortor at that time was over hauled and all bad parts were replaced. All I know is that it runs great and I have never had a problem with it. Last year it never hit the water and was stored in my grage so it might need a little tone up for this season.
