16" Landau Jon Boat w/ 2004 25 hp Yamaha Duck/Fishing Vehicle Description Duck hunter's and bass fisher's dream. Engine runs perfect. Runs about 26 mph with two 200 lb. men and 4 dozen decoys and guns. Runs aprox. 28 w/ one man. Seats 3 comfortably but will run fine w/ four passengers. Center seat has been modified for dry storage. Will hold 4 life jackets, 2 anchors, flare kit, fire extinguisher, small paddle, etc... Boat has 2 Cool Ride seats mounted on swivels. One on the bow bench and one on the stearn bench. IMO, these are the most comfortable seats that you can buy for a jon boat. They are open weave material, so if the seat gets wet, the dry out immediately and your backside stays dry. They are also high back chairs so larger folks can lean back in them and still be very comfortable. There are cup holders mounted next to each or the two Cool Ride seats. All benches have been covered in indoor/outdoor carpeting for comfortability while seated and for traction when entering and exiting the boat. Headlights are mounted on bow for night running. The boat has two power points, one next the front seat and one next to the rear, for spotlights, radio's, interior lights etc... Also, there is a Rule bilge pump in the rear of the boat. Lights, power points and bilge pump are all operated by a 12V battery mounted behind the rear seat. The 25 Yamaha engine, (imo, the most reliable engine on the market) was built in November of 2004 and purchased new in September of 2005. There are less than 100 hours on the engine. It has been serviced every year by Marine Supply in Winter Haven, FL. You will notice the 3" PVC pipes on either side of the gunnel. These are mainly for duck hunting and are used to hold palm fronds and other camoflauge but are great rod holders for crappie or even bass fishing. The hull is a Landau (unknown year, probably late '90s so I put '97 above) rivetted hull and has lost a rivet or two in the past but they have both been sealed by a professional tig welder in Winter Haven, FL. There was a very small crack in the bow that has been sealed by the same welder. The trailer is brand new and includes a spare tire. The boat guides and additional lights were added after the fact. The boat has been garaged when not in use and has been covered. The cover is included. There is a small tear in the cover where it goes over the lower unit of the engine, but it doesn't affect the top's ability to keep the boat dry. I have spent over $6000 on this boat to get it where it is. All you have to do is buy it, ready to go. It has served me well, but I have to sell it in order to purchase a larger duck boat w/ a mud motor on it. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. On eBay, there are boats that have older motors, with half the functionality of this boat and fewer upgrades than this boat, with BIN prices well over my reserve.
